Bio
JoWaves is the French-Canadian DJ rebuilding electronic music in Southeast Asia from the inside. Music Director of Republic Club Pattaya — which under his direction entered the DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs at #90 in less than six months and climbed to #82 worldwide in 2026.
Confirmed for Tomorrowland Winter 2026 (B2B Mike Bond, BAT × Velo Club, Alpe d'Huez), three consecutive seasons at Ultra Music Festival Croatia, residencies at Noa Beach Club Croatia (#10 DJ Mag 2025) and Shôko Barcelona (#7 best club worldwide). On May 1, 2026, headlined Republic's 4 Year Anniversary night with French Montana. Founder of the upcoming Republic Phuket complex (opening Dec 2026).

French-Canadian by origin, Asia-based by choice. JoWaves stepped back behind the decks in 2022 — and rewrote everything in the three years that followed. From a comeback set to Tomorrowland Winter, three consecutive seasons at Ultra Music Festival Croatia, and the music direction of one of the world's top 100 clubs, the arc is one of the fastest curves in the post-pandemic electronic scene.
In January 2025, he became Music Director of Republic Club Pattaya. In less than six months under his direction, the club entered the DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs for the first time — debuting at #90. By 2026, climbed to #82 worldwide, making it Thailand's highest-ranked nightclub on the global stage.
